Fai Hima Review

Yeah, another lakorn has wrapped up! I am very surprised with this lakorn how I was actually up to date, releasing three episodes every week haha. I’ve never done that before. Usually I would be behind on lakorns that air on the weekend slots. Anyways, this lakorn in general was good. It wasn’t great, but it wasn’t bad either. If you agree, disagree, feel free to comment below. I wanted to sub this for Louis, haha, obviously. He needs more love, even though his acting isn’t all that great LOL. But to be honest, I thought he did better in here than he did in Nai Keun Nao, even though both were filmed around the same time. He really knows how to play that naive character. It’s that look he gives like he doesn’t know what he’s supposed to do. I thought he and Kwan would be a weird looking pair because she is older than him but their chemistry isn’t so bad. If Tui didn’t pull out, I think chemistry would be better. Kwan in here, looked amazing! I wished she had her hair down more and am I the only one surprised her nail color was consistent throughout the whole lakorn? hahahaha. I was waiting for a scene where it wasn’t going to be white but they kept it consistent. Oh! You know what else is consistent? Her no real kiss policy! That’s the only downside with Kwan is that she doesn’t do real kisses. Why? Yo no se. You have to go ask her. Last time she ever got a real kiss from an actor, she got pissed at him, like no joke. If you’re wondering who that actor is, you can take a guess. Hahahaha. But shit it’s 2019 for god sake! But I guess everyone has their way of doing their job.

Back to FH, I don’t have much to say about this lakorn to be frank. Other than it was okay. That’s all I got LOL. But I do have to say they over dramatize (is that a word, lol?) Hin and his family. Like if you watched from beginning to end, you’ll see that he was getting screwed one after the next. First he finds out his wife cheated on him, then he loses his job, then he ends up owing a big debt to Kim because his mom was hospitalized for HBP and diabetes. Then the girl he’s in love with dumps him because he thought she was a gold-digger and went to date Kim, who his wife cheated on him with in the first place. It makes you think can someone have this much of bad luck. I know it’s just a lakorn and you’re not supposed to over think situations in them but sometimes I can’t help it. Oh and don’t make me mention Mr. Kim. Jeez, can someone have that much power over everyone? His ending was satisfying though. Also, was anyone else surprised that Lin and Jak didn’t end up together? I was lol. I thought for sure they would end up together and I thought Lin would be free from her brother at the end, but nope. Even though her brother won’t be controlling her the way he did but he still has power over her, because now she has to look after him for the rest of her life. But Lin was annoying with her naive self too in the beginning hahaha.

Welp, I think that’s all I got for this lakorn. Usually when a lakorn isn’t bad but not great, I have little to say lmao! And if you read to this part, comment below who you think gave Kwan a real kiss (like Thai lakorn standard lip to lip LOL) so I’ll know you actually took the time to read this. I’ll reveal the answer in my next review!

p/s for RJA review, there were a couple of people that didn’t write #perfect. Y’all didn’t read, I know y’all didn’t lololololol.

  2. thank you thippy for subbing the lakorn… the drama start was very nice later turned crazy like… all the time hin had bad luck after bad luck.. kim ending was satisfying… but i really wanted jak and lin to end up together…. in directly she still under the control of her brother….. regarding kwan real kiss i think its win.. but waiting too know who it is actually… thank you for your hardwork love you work..

  3. I just came back to see if someone had gotten it right, lol!

Me To think that this drama is’nt that great but we can say it’s okey i loved louse and kwan here .
and about the real kiss for kwan i think that’s my own thoughts but what’s worn with a real one but i think she didn’t like this sence but i totlly agree with you it’s 2019 for god sake

  5. No idea but i will guess Win, just because I watched their pairing the most.

As for the series, it started really promising for me, I thought it could be really good but then it started going downhill in the middle and totally crazy and irrational by the end, it wasn’t bad but not good either. Thanks for all your hard work.

Me think it’s Tui in Mai Sin Rai Fai Sawaat. I hope I got it right. Right Thippy? And thank you so much for subbing these wonderful lakorns.

Thanks thippy for subbing Fai Hima! It started off great with the police showing Louis as a cop and the messy relationship between Hin, Ratee, and Kim. But, then it became repetitive with all the misfortunes that Hin suffered because of Kim. I really wanted Jak to get the girl – even though Lin’s character was a bit annoying and unrealistic (especially in the beginning). But I did feel bad about the fact that now she’s going to have to take care of her brother despite everything he did to her.

I really wished she did kiss scenes – because the not-so-subtle camera angles and positioning of faces and bodies made the fake kiss scenes feel really awkward.

As for the kiss … Was it Weir? Aom? I’m super curious now hehe

    Hi Thippy,

I confess I haven’t gotten to this one yet. I aim to though in the next week or so because I enjoy both of these actors. I agree that Louis is still growing as a actor but I believe he will get there. Thank you for subbing this. I truly appreciate it. You are awesome!!

I like Kwan! And I liked this lakorn at first, it started off well, but it went downhill (for me) after Hin had one too many bad lucks…I just couldn’t get into why Kim had such a hard on for Hin. Also, I could only take so much of Louis’ stiff acting lol.

    Was it Oil??

    Was it Tle or Vee??

I agree with you, Thippy. The series started off well, and just got too crazy. The acting was way overboard. Kim had to have a sneer at the end of each scene. I get it, I get it… he’s a baddie!!!

I liked Kwan, but she looked as though she had too much Botox in this series. Having her hair pulled back all the time further emphasized it!

I had to drop it 3/4 way through. THANK YOU very much for your subbing efforts, Thippy. Much appreciated.

I tot it was Weir too, but you said No! Hmmm….

  13. Karla says:

It’s the first time I see a drama of hers. And i agree it would make it better if she had actual lip to lip kiss with Louis. I wonder if they get frustrated that they can’t kiss a beautiful girl like her lol anyway I’m with you and I agree on your review.

  14. Rel says:

Maybe Win? He looks cheeky enough to try.

I haven’t finished this lakorn yet cause I can only take so much of Hin’s bad luck at a time. Thanks for subbing!

  15. Watch it be someone completely unexpected who gave her a kiss lol. Maybe it is just me but I could not picture Tui playing Hin.. wonder if he thought the same. Haha

  16. thank you

  17. Nettan says:

I´m also thinking that it can be Weir.

  18. Lucy says:

    Maybe Weir.

First of all, thank you for subbing this lakorn.

I haven’t finished this lakorn yet. It’s a little difficult for me to find logic in Hin’s thoughts. After cleaning his house with her own hands and screaming in tears when he was beaten, he still believes that she’s a gold digger and never really loved him?
And I can’t imagine Tui in this role. He can never be that naive and stupid. And he is too old for this character.

    1. Janeitte.Alexander says:

I totally agreed with you on this lakorn, I thought it was good at the start and it wasn’t great either towards the end. Tui probably saw the storyline and pulled out.I’m glad he did,I’m hoping Kwan and him gets another lakorn ASAP!!!!Your review is always on point, love your work Thippy. Thank you for your sub 🙂

  19. I’m not good with names, but I guess it was with someone in her supporting roles time.

    1. thippy007 says:

      Nope haha 😅
