Hello, I realized I never had an about me and figured I should put one up since, well, why not? LOL. If you don’t know already, I’m Thippy, Thip, either one is fine. One of the discord girls gave me the code name TP so you can call me that too. ^^ I’ve been watching Thai lakorns since I was a kid. I actually started watching boran lakorns first, you know the ones that have princes and princesses and magical powers. Some of my favorites are Si Yod Kumarn (2000), Thepsin Intarajak, Wongsawan, Thep Sarm Rudoo (2006), Nam Jai Mae, Manee Nopa Gaow. But for regular Thai lakorns, if my memory serves me correctly, my first ever lakorn that I watched was Gumnan Ying with Bee Swiss & Ao Petchlada, in which CH7 is actually remaking that lakorn now. I think the leads are Chap Vorakorn & Praew Chermawee. Then followed by Pookong Yodrak with Num Sornram & Tik Kanyarat and the rest was history hehe. Like most of you, I didn’t understand Thai that clearly back then. So you can say I learned how to read and speak Thai through watching lakorns so if you’re thinking of learning Thai through watching lakorns, you’re on the right track. It just takes time. Though I think I was able to pick up the language quicker because Thai & Lao are very similar so it was easier for me.

Languages: English, Lao, Thai

Location: United States of America

Favorite Thai Channel: I watch any channel as long as the storyline is good and the leads are eye candy lol. But mostly Ch7 since I grew up watching their lakorns more.

Favorite Thai Actress: Pancake Khemanit- BIAS (Some lakorns I enjoyed her in was Plik Din Soo Dao, Wimarn Mungkorn, Khun Noo Tewada, Rak Rae, Nangfah Gup Mafia, Tur Gup Chun Lae Rak Kong Rao, Prik Gup Kleua). Some other actresses includes Now Tisanart, Thisa Varitthisa, Bow Maylada, Mookda Narinrak, Sammy Cowell, Mint Chalida, Baifern Pimchanok, Oom Eisaya, Joon Chonrudee

Favorite Thai Actor: I don’t think have a bias as much I do for Pan but I do like Weir Sukollawat, Tao Sattaphong, Porshe Saran, Louis Hesse, Boy Pakorn, Nadech Kugimiya, Masu, Om Akapan, Iang Sitta, Pon Nawasch

Favorite Thai Lakorn: TOO MANY!!!!

First Lakorn I Subbed: Tawan Tor Saeng starring Dome Pakorn & Mai Davika–thinking of resubbing it with HD videos kekeke.

I know I created this blog strictly for my subbed lakorn but I’ll try to bring more content such as articles, magazines, other TV shows subbed if time permits.

Lastly, thank you for the support and encouragement!

It’s awesome to to here your story. Thank you for subing for viewers. My life story is a little like yours and i found that interesting. I too grew up watching Thai lakorn as a child and picked up on the language. I’m Lao-American myself(1stgen) so picking up the language came naturally for me. Would you ever consider posting videos without subs?
I have dedicated sites I go to already, but stumbled on your site while serching for Poo Bao Indy Yeyee Inter. I stopped watching Thai Lakorn for a while and only watched Kdramas and Wuxia. I’m coming back to my roots. Thanks you for your hard work.

I love reading about people’s bio. My favorite boran is Wongsawan too. I wonder why that one doesn’t get remade. And I’m a channel 7 fan too. Wish I could learn Thai also. It’s such a beautiful language. And I want to travel to Thailand some day.
